The Old Port Festival was today. There were way too many people for the adults in our group, but Maisie seemed to enjoy herself a great deal...she listened to a jazz trio, an old time folk trio, had a strawberry smoothie, got an Elmo balloon, and saw the sights from a nice cozy, comfy backpack. What's NOT to like about that?Alas, the events of the weekend took their toll and the little mite went to bed without a bath, supper and with her clothes still on. Hope you had a rip snortin' time this weekend, too.

I had a great time even though the crowds were getting to me after a while. The best part was watching Maisie taking it all in and having such a good time.
