Art Walk

Last Friday of the month is tomorrow. That means the Biddeford Art Walk at the North Dam Mill Building. Come by and have a beer, listen to some violin and look at some art. I will be there with my watercolor cards and some of my fish. Come by and say Hi.

Urban Grange Black Gold

Here's this year's batch of compost. We are suppose to get some rain this weekend, so I spread some on the existing garden so that it might get soaked in.  I think this year we will try permaculture sheet mulching some flower beds and bring in some organic matter to raise and expand the vegetable garden (we've invited K&J to share the space with us). I'm eager to see abundant production so that I might be able to really introduce my From Dirt to Door micro-enterprise (stay tuned for more information about this).  The red-winged blackbirds returned today...Spring is definitely in the air.

More new scanner experiments

Here are two more originals. Bear with me as I learn the finer points of my scanner and spacing on the blog .

The tree is mixed media: ink, watercolors, acrylic;

the dragonfly is ink and watercolor.

Happy

Remember feeling this way? I hope she NEVER loses this "joie de vivre" and I seriously hope that it is contagious.
