March 26, 1960

My parents would have been married 51 years today.  I threw them a 35th anniversary party. In 15 years time, they are gone as are 5 others who attended the party. And at least two of the couples are broken up. I bring this up, not to be morbid, but to remind myself of the importance of LIVING every day, every opportunity, every moment.  And to go with the flow and practice being non-judgemental. It appears that after my parent's deaths, I discovered some information that was pretty big stuff, but they never had even alluded to it.  I also discovered they had kept a really big secret from some of their closest family members...a feat that I can't imagine the amount of energy required to pull off. They obviously felt it necessary to conceal this information for some reason that I will not know.

Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad.

I'm intrigued. The 35th celebration was lots of fun, some good memories. Thinking of you on this day.
