always err on the side of mother. Yes, I am in my mid-40's and yes I have a toddler. I am her mother-NOT grandmother. I am not a good sport about this. Also, if you are uncertain about parentage due to assumptions about my sexuality...get over it ( I am not "auntie, either). It is a non-issue. I am a parent.
